MOBILE UX

Comfortable play on a phone

01

Tap an intersection once

Edge intersections keep enough touch space, so you can place accurately without zooming.

02

Track the last move and hint

A dot marks the last move, a pulse marks a hint, and the winning five are highlighted.

03

Undo a mistake

In AI mode, undo returns both your move and the AI reply so you can reconsider the position.

AI LEVELS

How the levels differ

1Best for learning

Beginner

Checks immediate wins and blocks, then introduces variation among several reasonable candidates.

2Practical play

Intermediate

Balances attack and counterplay and uses open threes, open fours and crossing threats more consistently.

3Calculation training

Advanced

Uses time-limited alpha-beta search and assumes stronger defensive replies before choosing a move.

FAQ

Game questions

Is Renju practice identical to official tournament adjudication?

It teaches the core restrictions—double-three, double-four and overline. It does not replace a full referee engine for every false-three and opening-rule edge case.

Do hints affect match records?

No special penalty is applied. A hint highlights a candidate but does not place the stone for you; the final result is recorded normally.

Does the AI work offline?

After the site has loaded once and its files are cached, the core game and course functions can run offline.
