Recognize threats on the board

Separate five, open four, closed four and open three, then learn which moves must be answered.

Intermediate

Create two threats with one move

Use 4-3 forks and crossing lines to make a position that cannot be fully defended in one turn.

Advanced

Calculate forcing lines to the end

Prune candidates, connect VCF and VCT sequences, and use move order and forbidden points.

The first player to connect five stones horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins. Overlines and forbidden moves depend on the selected rule set.

Black and White alternate on empty intersections.
Freestyle Gomoku treats five or more as a win.
Renju restricts Black from double-threes, double-fours and overlines.

Frequently asked questions

Are game records stored on a server?

No. Wins, losses, streaks, preferences and course progress are stored only in your browser. Clearing site data removes them.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. It runs in Safari and Chrome without an app. Add it to the home screen for a standalone, app-like experience.

Is the advanced AI expert-player strength?

The advanced level is designed for tactical training and strong casual play. It is not presented as a replacement for a specialized tournament engine or a top human player.
